Ugly enough to be a Mitsubishi or even a Subaru, for sure.

Certainly uglier than the Sanyong (sp) that folks were knocking on
here a while back .
Maybe the things will grow on you. But I cant see a heap of miners
tradespeople and so on getting in/out of that low roof line all day

The thing about Toyotas is they carry on being ugly for many years
without dying, while other ugly cars fall to pieces. I dunno which is
better.

I read somewhere that the reason Toyota all have that nob on the front
was that the elderly Mr Toyoda crashed his car into a wall, and then
demanded that all new Toyotas in the future would have to have
'reference points'.

It looks like poetry compared to the current Camry / Aurion. I get a
physical repulsion whenever I see one of those.

Yep...I once described the current models as looking like a fat lady
in lycra.....and of course was baaaaa'd down by the sheep here.
Fortunately they put the new Corolla on a diet and many of the
superfluous bumps have disappeared

I don't like the Camry but although the Aurion is only slightly
different I don't mind it.

I have to look at the badges to tell the difference :)

I don't like the way the taillights on the Camry angle down, I prefer
the straight lines of the Aurion lights.
Apparently the bonnet and boot lids are different, I know the
differences are small but IMO they make a lot of difference to the
overall look.
