First time in a forum like this, thanks for having me.
Last year I purchased a Panasonic projection display model PT-40LC12. After 11 months of use the lamp burned out. I would guess I average 4 hours of viewing time per day, so over 11 months that works out to be 1,316 hrs on a lamp that Panasonic claims should last 5000 hrs. I don't mind replacing the lamp but the cost is crazy, $300 plus S+H. Does anyone else have this set or one like it and are you finding a similar problem with premature lamp failure?
