Sending a Foxtel IQ signal

I currently have Foxtel IQ hooked up to my plasma TV and I am trying to send the signal to my CRT TV in my bedroom using an AV sender unit. The signal and sound are coming through but they are broken up. Is this because of the CRT TV in the bedroom and would an LCD TV be the solution?

No. The problem is the av sender unit. Try changing channels on it.
