.... on Foxtel, that is. Sadly, Channel 9 gave up on Malcolm after airing
part of season 6 over the summer of 2005-2006, finally finishing up about 9
episodes in, in Feb 2006. *Thankfully*, The Comedy Channel has resumed
where 9 left off, showing the remaining season 6, and are now airing the
final season 7 every Saturday (the show finished in the US back in 2006 - so
we're nearly 2 years behind!). Sadly, for you folks without Foxtel, there
is no chance of you ever seeing the rest of this fantastic show, especially
as it is not being released on DVD (aside from a season 1 R1 6 years ago).
I mean it when I say that too - it's arguably one of the best sitcoms ever
(My Name is Earl - another rare sitcom without a laugh track, has *nothing*
on this show). The writing is still very sharp, although admittedly it's
not as good as the first few seasons (especially since the new baby came
along). I doubt anyone would argue with me that Dewey is one of the
best/funniest TV characters ever created.
