Hi,
I currently have an Infocus 4805 projector, and it's great, however I'm
lusting after a new 1080p projector. Its been a while since I evaluated
projectors, but I bought DLP because at the time it was streets ahead of
entry-level LCD for a cinema-like image. 99% of my viewing is DVD movies
(yes, I'm looking to get a new BlueRay player or up-scaling DVD player as
well) My short list so far is the Epson TW-1000 or BenQ W5000. Feedback on
either of these (or other contenders) appreciated.

Ian, do yourself a favour and spend some time on projectorreviews.com. The
reviewer there seems to be very well respected within the American HT
community and he runs an excellent site with extensive reviews on every
1080p projector on the market. He has recently done a complete comparison
on the 1080p projectors in every price category.

I hope you find this helpful

Regards Peter

P.S. The Epson TW1000 has been replaced by the TW2000 and apparently there's
none better under $5000

Just thought I'd add - the review for the TW-2000 really is glowing... and
you can get it for $3107 from pricejapan.com - not bad!
