OK the Nominations for awards has now officially started. The award Categories for 2008 are:
1. 5 Star Member
2. Friendliest Person
3. Most likely to go off topic
4. Most Helpful member
5. Best User Name
6. Funniest Member
7. Best Signature
8. Best Avatar
9. Most likely to be naked in front of the Keyboard
10. Funniest Post
11. Most Thought Provoking Thread
12. Best Freebie Finder
13. Friendliest mod/admin
14. The SHUT-UP award for the best comeback
15. Most improved member
16. The 'I can't help being annoying' award
17. Best Newbie
Please think carefully about who you would nominate for each. Please also remember you do not have to nominate for every award. If you only want to nominate for 1,2 or 5 of the 17 you are welcome to.
Please also note the new rule:
A single person can only win TWO (2) awards but can be nominated to run for all the awards. Voting threads will commence at staggered times, 10 minutes apart, starting at thread 1 and ending with thread 11. Awards won will be determined at the close of each thread. When a member wins two awards they will no longer be in the running for wins in the remaining threads and the win will default to the person with the next highest vote.
Please also keep in mind that no changes to signatures, usernames, gender etc are allowed once the nominations begin if you wish to take part in those awards. No new threads created after nominations commence will be considered for nomination. Members who are currently serving any type of ban or receive any type of ban during the period of the awards become ineligible for awards.
Please PM your nominations to Tuesday, Montyb8, Diabolical (don't worry she does not bite.......much) or myself no later than the 24th of October @ 23:59 nominations submitted after this date will not be counted.
