Think back to the best league game previously. ETs Rugby League.. It never looked good, but it was fun ....

It's very realistic, for example you can do forward passes and also the stadiums are always empty :p

I've been playing this game most of the weekend and I absolutely love it. Sure there a few bugs in the game with the offside on kicks, and the options are very basic to a Madden, and the graphics are not as good as a big budget US title, but in saying that it is still better than a lot of games, and the gameplay is fun... Which is what matters!!!

Buy it now people!!

Just finished my first season, and the 2nd level of difficulty - and with a 32 - 0 romp in the grand final - it definitely will be time to move up a gear...

But still loving the game -- all the other games I got at Xmas still in the shrink wrapping

Played this game yesterday for a while. Pretty fun game and considering I don't follow Rugby at all, I enjoyed it.....

My brother got Rugby League for the XBox and I was wondering if the XBox logo is on the crossbar (as is the case in the NRL) on the PS2 version???

Xbox version has it, but not the PS2 version.

As soon as they get more copies in i'm buying it for ps2. The xbox controllers are shit and it spoils the game a little for me.

I think with the worldwide limited appeal, compared to say soccer or ice hockey, they probably needed to release it on all platforms to have any chance of making a profit.

I have been to EB, Myer, Big W, K-Mart, Target and a couple of local shops but no one has a copy on the shelf for either ps2 or xbox. My brother got his copy because some guy didn't like the game (??????) and exchanged it at EB about 5 mins before my brother's girlfriend got it of the shelf.
