Most of the time, I find myself scrolling through pages and pages of posts that are for the most part "quotes" of a previous poster. Sometimes, it's a quote of a post of a a previous quote posted with an included quote. :D

I can understand why it's handy to quote a part of a post for context, but the ability to reply to a post using the "quote" button is overused. Perhaps this feature should be removed. If, however people still need to quote, they can copy/paste the relevasnt post.

Just a suggestion.

There is a quick reply button now as well, people can use that or quote its up to them

I say keep it in, perhaps if people were made aware of it like this post does they may decide to use that feature

thanks

Yeah sometimes it can be a pain in the arse especially if the response is a smiley face.

I notice it more in the aus.dvd forums part - which we have no control over...
