Break up telstra and fox

Well I think the only way for pay tv to expand is to break up fox and telstra
Austar area to be freed up and let other operators to move in
None of these operators are very good at it in Australia.
With the new tech. it could happen over night.
Lets have a go free it up

The big problem is costs and economies of scale.
Without muscle they won't compete at getting US movies nor being able to pay
for big sporting events.

Your ideas are fine but I am sure you will concede they may only create lots
of more failing small companies. A country of 20Million can't compete easily
against the big guys.

You can argue about this till the cows come home. Its all about money.

Don't form their own channels. Buy the existing channels

Telstra have no ownership in Fox Sports - that's just News Ltd & PBL.

Showtime has no ownership by Telstra either. Fox (NOT Foxtel) have 20%
ownership.
