You do realise that your friendly posting is now turning into
spamming?

Good attitude to go with the spamming.

No.. I agree with me..what he is posting is not "spam" and anyway there is
far too much paranoia about it

dictionary.reference.com defines "spam" as --
"Unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature,
sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups;
junk e-mail"
The original posting from "me" doesn't seem to be commercial,
and definitely wasn't sent indiscriminately to multiple newsgroups.
As for "unsolicited", that applies to many, if not most, postings in this
newsgroup.
As for "junk", I've found his 300D site useful, and there may be others
who'd find it useful but wouldn't know about it if he hadn't posted the
link.
Besides, just about every response to his post (including this) has been
unnecessary and could be regarded as junk (but not spam!).

Not according to the definition above, particularly the
"sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists ...etc" bit.
Besides, one person's spam is another person's spicy ham.

Well, seems to me that he wasn't "indiscriminate" nor did he send it it
multiple mailing lists (unless I missed something) so his posts appear to be
pretty much what we all post (including the gratuitous rudeness :o)
So I guess in the big scheme of things, many of us post ham in a can ... ;o)

Vikings: Lovely spam, wonderful spam....etc
Waitress: Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Bloody vikings. You can't have egg,
bacon, spam and sausage without the spam.
Mrs. Bun: I don't like spam!
Mr. Bun: Shh dear, don't cause a fuss. I'll have your spam. I love it. I'm
having spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, baked beans, spam, spam,
spam and spam. (starts Vikings off again)

Your just pissed off because you and someone there has a Nikon and that
look-a-like thingo that takes nikon lenses. Jealous that nobody will
trade these in on a brace of 300D's Canons, therefore this site has no
relevance to you. :)
Now lets find a Nikon site for you ah .... found - www.maxwell.com.au :)

ROFL .. I'm not pissed off at all .. I felt your response was very immature
indeed .. and thanks for proving it.
Clearly Nikon clearly doesn't need a site to keep track of it's incessant
changes to it's technology as you seem to be inferring Canon does
