Coolpix 5400

can any one help me? I recently bought a coolpix 5400 from Japan the sales assistant said i would be able to download an english version of the User manual and software from the Nikon site. I have been to this site and these are nowhere to be seen. Can anyone tell me how to get my hands on these Thanks..
