Hi All, (sorry its a bit late but might still help)
Below is the fix for Searching for Signal and E34, E35 & Optus Aurora.
Here is an update on the fix for Searching for Signals
Press Menu
Advanced options
Change dish installation
9949
Signal setup
1 (home)
This should read as follows: If it doesn’t please change using the arrow buttons or number keypad on foxtel remote. Press OK once the below settings have been added. Then press exit once. Then select Tune & Re-scan and press OK. If an E16 appears after the Tune & Re-scan, initialize the Smart Card.
Signal source = enabled
LNB selection = 1
Freq = 12478
Symb rate 27800
Pol = Horizontal
FEC = 3/4
*****Please check the LNB Setup by doing as follows
Press Menu
Advanced options
Change dish installation
9949
LNB Configuration
LNB Setup 1
This should read as follows:
LNB Power: On
LNB Mode: Single frequency
LNB Frequency: 11300 (for old 11.3 LNB or change to 10700 if you have had new 10.7 LNB installed)
If you have had a tech out to your property anytime after 1st August 2003 you will have a 10.7 LNB
E34, E35 & Optus Aurora fix
The output will change to 38 so please take a note of the customer's output before performing this function
Menu
Advanced Options
Change Dish Install
Pin 9949
Reset to Factory Defaults
Press OK twice
If you have any problems, let us know. 131 999 (its not busy anymore)

That fix does'nt fix mine, the Frequeny 12478 Mhz is the one that it keeps
searching for the most and
my settings are identical to what you've posted.
I just changed from 22 to 18 and after 15 mins it was still searching for
that freq. ?
Signal strength is 80 to 85 %

Thats Arena to National Geo Channel the 22 to 18

Already did that yesterday, was told it would be like it until sometime next
week as the conversion to digital was in progress and was interfering with
everyones the same and other people could'nt get say - FOX8 etc...
and if it was like it by the end of next week to ring back again.
Have notice just then, after the ungrade a while ago that the channels are
changing better and comming up quicker at the moment though, see how it
goes.

The signal is digital... Just not some of the camera and studio equipment
