In November, Telstra released a CD single of its re-mix of the song 'I
am Australian', and sold it in Telstra Shops for $6 each. All the
profits were donated to the Farmhand Foundation's Drought Relief Appeal.
'I Am Australian' was written by The Seekers' Bruce Woodley and Dobe
Newton, and Bruce also composed the original music. The version featured
on the CD was re-arranged and performed for Telstra by Rai Thistlewayte
and other artists.
