Anyone else have a time and date error on their foxtel. Noticed a
couple of days ago that the time on the foxtel box was an hour out (on
standby) but ignored it as I knew that various update(s) were
happening. Just noticed this morning ( 10:45Am 1-dec-03) that the time
was 23:45. Went through the menu and found that the date was 30-nov-03
and that i could not change anything. Is this supposed to be a user
option? Or is it time to call foxtel?
Cheers

Change the Automatic setting at the top to manual and change then change
time down the bottom up or down in half hour blocks.

Thanks for the reply. It's already on manual and when I go down to the
time there is no response when I use the left or right arrow to try
and change the time. The left and right arrows do work in other menu
options so there is nothing wrong with the keys on the remote, just
can't alter the time.

what model decoder do you have???? if you have a DSD660 call foxtel to have it replaced. there is no reason why you shouldnt be able to change the time manually.

Yes, it is a DSD 660. I'll give it a couple of days and then try
again. If no success I'll call foxtel.
Cheers

Continual fuckups on FOXTEL's part. They think we don't notice.
It happened again today and said they were investigating. They are learning
how to manage a shared platform and aren't doing a very good job at not
disrupting the viewing service.
Send a message to the FOXTEL employee and tell him to fix the issues instead
of coughing up direction.
