the matrix was shot exclusively on 10D's and EF24-85 zooms
Last time I saw him he had over 80 of them, but I think he has since just
bought another 15 for a Japanese beer commercial

canon out of focus problem !?

Matrix was apparently shot using 1Vs. 'Twas 1999, don't forget, no 1D or
1Ds..
1D was announced at the end of 2001 (see Canon camera museum).

The first time they did that type of shot was for an advert, they used about
150 Olympus OM10 all hooked up to a trigger.
Nothing new.
