Playing with cards.

[Mervo]

I read this newsgroup and have to confess that, apart from having Foxtel
cable, I know nothing about many of the issues in here.

However reading about cards, I was overtaken by a flight of fancy. In a fit
of absolute boredom, I removed the Foxtel card and started sticking in my
collection of other cards including VISA and Mastercard.

As you will expect, the results were to be expected. Absolutely nothing.

All until I inserted my Video Ezy membership card.

"Welcome to Foxtel" !

skipping through the channels, I found that I was now subscribed to the
Adult Channel, as well as Channels 29, 30, and 31 and the foreign language
ones.

Naturally, from now on, at the end of my night's viewing I will reinsert
the Foxtel Card, just to be on the safe side !

Ever considered that these channels may not be scrambled in the first place
but an stb needs a card inserted to work anyway.
