Nice argument for high speed AF (ie Canon). Try getting some of those shots
with manual focus cameras and see how far you get...

LOL.. mozilla firebird's memory usage was over 100mb, so i closed it,
and am gonna use getright to download them all and browse the
directory myself.

I suppose I could just buy one. I just know that fast lenses are no hassle
to focus.

I was just wondered if you had ready access to one as I would like to see
real examples, ie actual film and not scans, shot with the 200/1.8 at
various apertures. I own a 1:2.0/180 Leica and would love to know how these
2 lenses compare. I wouldn't be too surprised (maybe a little though) if the
Canon was better as it has a great reputation. I was going to ask you to
shoot a roll on Velvia and actually mail it to me, I would do the same with
the leica. Let me know if you buy one or get your hands on one. I had an
opportunity here in Melb about a month ago but wasn't able to follow through
before the 200/1.8 disappeared.
