howdy all, recently purchased a grundig xentia tv, which is very nice, however now im limited to s-vid out of my pioneer s737 player...now im wondering what a good rgb scart player for pure interlace output would be. I only want to spend around a grand, anymore would just be defeating the point i think. (ie, killer prog scan...dont need it..)

I can buy a $350 yuv-rgb scart adapter, but if these new players kick a bit of ass over the old s737, then its probably worth it to upgrade.

so far ive found -

Denon 1600
Denon 2800 mk2 (old now tho..)
Harmon Kardon Dvd 25 / 30
and some Marantz one (forgotten the model)

dont really want to go with a grundig or loewe player, as they are pretty old now, and dont really look the buisness.

dvd-a could be interesting, so im after that as well.

oh yeah, is there a for sale forum here? im probably going to have to ditch the s737 when i get a new player.

cheers

James,

I'm with Miro...and you'll be able to control it from your TV remote (unless
you run a Pronto etc, then it doesn't matter)
