ok who's got the longest shipping time from dvdsoon? I've been waiting 12
days now for my first ever order with them. So much for the quick
deliveries!

if it's a big package, postal services always take longer. Longest wait
I had was Scarface (the huge LE gift set), which clocked in at about 14
days I guess.
Of course, it could also be that your package is being delayed by
customs. Plus it's December, so for the following month, till the second
week of January, most postal services will be jammed and thus slower.
That's why I hardly ever buy DVDs in this period, rather wait for mid
January. Also too many postal employees going Xmas shopping in my DVDs
during past years, so that's another good reason lol

I have only ordered single DVD's - always between 8 to 10 days.

Very pleased with the service from this company - good prices for many disks
and an very happy with 8 to 10 days for free shipping.

damn, i hope i don't have to wait 12 weeks for 2 dvds. what do you guys do
when it's taking a long time... just pray it comes? What's dvdsoon's
response like when you chase them up on deliveries?

Me

I have emailed them twice in the past fortnight and they have not replied
once. I think their "contact" button is just for novelty value.

They'll tell you to wait 56 business days before they reship. All companies
that use their national postal service will be subject to delays here and
there. If you want your DVDs quickly every time, you have to pay for it and
use a courier.

You just wait... and wait.... and wait..

They don't really re-ship anymore, they put a coupon in the MY Coupons
Folder of your account for the original amount you paid.

To balance the ledger, on average it takes 10-12 days to Oz. Fastest was 4
days (Alien Quad), the next day was LOTR:TT:EE (5 day). But I have been
waiting since the 24th Nov for my last order.

3 weeks to Connecticut.
Normal shipping time is 2 weeks.

Waited a couple of months for a dvd that DVDSoon couldn't seem to get in
stock and I ended up getting it from DVD Pacific. Have asked them to credit
my visa. Takes about a month so they say. Had an email exchange with them
and they were apologetic about it but it was just all too slow!

This is the main reason why I'd be hesitant in using DVDSOON. I value
customer service over price anyday. The longest I've waited for a
response to emails sent to DVDPACIFIC has been 10 mins on both
occasions I've made enquiries in regards to certain DVDs.

I doubt I'll even give this mob a look-in.

I won't be using them again, purely for their "don't give a shit" attitude
towards inquiries.

personally i think your being a bit impatient, what do you really expect at
Xmas time?? the time of the year when mail volumes probably increase about
50% so of course its going to take longer to arrive....

uhh.. personally I think 12 weeks is just a tad too long.

And I just received the package today! shipped 24/11, received 8/12.

So nothing outstanding about the delivery time, but yes, it's xmas.
