GIVING AWAY FREE DVDS TO COLLECTORS</CENTER>
The Gold Collection DVD Program introduced by Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment in July, 2001 has proven to be a huge success, with as many as 20,000 DVDs being redeemed so far by collectors across the country.
Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment is overwhelmed by the response to the Gold Collection Program so far. Managing Director, Michele Garra, commented "These redemption figures show that the DVD format has been cemented in Australia's home entertainment market and we are proud to be able to provide DVD supporters with what they want - high quality discs, extensive variety and excellent value for money. Now of course there is the added bonus of rewarding loyal customers in a way that no other company is - with free product."
By the end of January 2002 there will be nearly 50 new release titles involved in the Gold Collection Program including smash hits such as Final Fantasy, Joe Dirt, Evolution, Bridget Jones's Diary and The Animal. This huge number of titles provides ample opportunity to take advantage of Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment's buy four get one free DVD program and with Christmas fast approaching there is no better time to start collecting. With the number of DVD players in Australia set to double over Christmas, what better way to start the new year than with free DVDs.
Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment looks to continue it's commitment to the DVD industry in Australia, by improving on their already high quality Gold Standard DVD releases along with further innovative campaigns such as the Gold Standard Collection Program.
This Buy Four Get One Free program is on offer until March 31, 2002.
