G'day Folks
Just a quick Q about this TV.
Has anybody successfully connected the S-Video through the SCART (using an
adaptor) and gotten the full colour picture?
I keep getting just black and white.
cheers

Sorry, don't know the set, but could it be a PAL/NTSC issue, or maybe setup
options of your TV to take composite/S-vid input? Often NTSC on a PAL tv
will display B&W...

Bought one of this as ex-demo, very happy with picture using component video socket from dvd to Tv.
I have tried running s-video from dvd to scart but notice, I was getting purple tinge on whites, resetted played with contrast still same. switch to Component, it was good.
I am using a Crest Scart converter with both S-video and component. THis plug has an 'in' and 'out' switch. Notice however, i cant run or use the s-video as monitor output from my reciever.
One thing though i am not happy, i think i got jib with remote control. The remote I got does not say anything at all Orion but just t2500 so I cant even tune for tv channels. What i seem to get is just what has been tuned, SBS and channel 9!!!!!. Dude they even forgot to give me a manual, still waiting for that too on mail!!!can you advised where I can get a manual for T3290 Orion.
cheers
 :(
