I have an xms dvd player and xms 5.1 channel home theatre system that is linked with an optical cable. The problem is that when ever I waych a dvd or listen to a cd it works great for a while then the signal drops out and all sound is LOST.I dont know if it is the optical cable or the unit that overheats.
PLEASE HELP....

How is anyone else to know if your unit is overheating? Does it get hot? Is
it properly ventilated? Have you tried taking it out of an enclosed space
(assuming it's currently in one) and seen if the problem still occurs?
Also, make sure you haven't damaged your optical cable by bending it or
rolling it up tight or anything.

take it back to where you bought it.
