so and i have owned both .A big upgrade in Status Appeal maybe ;-)). The
E.A.D. Encore is without doubt very nice but if you were blindfolded you
would not tell it from the Sony9000 (if they were both using the same
power amps of course). The extra $$$$ for the E.A.D processor. would be
better put towards a speaker or power amps upgrade. The Sony 9000 with the
2.5 firmware is better than you think Trev.
Trust me I know.
