View Full Version : So Many Foxtel Cancellations Lately...

As i work in a large organisation, 5000+ employees australia wide, you can
get a general feel
about whats going on in society during normal work procedures, chating at
tea and lunch breaks etc...
and i amazed at how many people have already or are going to cancell their
Foxtel subscription in the comming months.
Alot of people have the 'pirate cards' and used them to get what they saw as
value for their 50 bucks
each month, but more and more are starting to find problems with them and
are not interested in
paying the extra money to keep what channels they've enjoyed in the past as
they also find those channels they
want are spread over 2 or 3 packages which results in quite a bit extra to
subscribe to them all, so the other alternative is disconnect.
50 Bucks for what's being offered is not at all attractive and you've got no
choice in what being offered.
I've never heard anyone say, i think bloomberg or bbc or cnn is fantastic,
those should be the channels
you do pay extra for if thats your interest, but to fill up the basic
package with financial channels and 24hr crap from
america, it's no wonder people of unsubscribing like they are. It's like
rats on a sinking ship.

Opinion is based on my own experience and information offered to me by many
various independent people and appears
to concur with quite a few recent posting on this and a number of other
simular NG's

With due respect you said you there were 5000 people where you work and by
talking to them at morning tea etc. you have made a decision that they're all
leaving FOXTEL. Quote "It's like rats on a sinking ship."
Wayne, at this stage what you've written is absolute crap. You haven't given us
one solid piece of information to support you view.
Try again and give us some real facts not what you dreamt when taking a dump!

Correct there is +5000 people, i never stated i'd spoken to all of them
collectively,
or that they are all leaving foxtel, my statment is just as opinion as i
stated below
'Opinion is based on my own experience and info offered' as it's only an
opinion, i do not need to supply any
or futher evidence, my opinion only supporting what is already being posted
here and elsewhere on NG's

Bryron, nice name, I want him to back up his statement with facts rather than
the posting of adolescent garbage similar to what you just did. Incidently have
you thanked your parents for your nice name?

Nah, he is just excited about the rumours here that foxtel will drop
their prices once all the pirates are turned off....., now who's
pissing in the wind.

Really? I work in a large organisation too but I only chat to a small
percentage of the workforce. It's physically impossible to talk AND LISTEN
to them all!
Unless you're a nation-trotting staff-hugging CEO, a guy at the water cooler
in Sydney HQ would have very little idea about what a fellow employee at the
coleface in Perth thinks concerning non-corporate issues.
Sorry, I don't think much of your survey technique.

It's not a 'survey' merely an opinion,
where did i state that i'd spoken and listened to them all ?
