Aldi have a projector for $1600 has anyone brought one of these is it a risk
to buy a cheap brand like tevion

There is little doubt that this is not a high end projector looking at
the specs., but I'd still be interested in knowing if anyone has tried
one. It is SVGA 800 x 600, which is probably the main downfall - but
it does have a few features found on more expensive models (keystone
correction, selectable widescreen or 4:3). Might be a good entry
level, if you're not picky about quality.

According to the manager of the local Aldi, nobody has bought one from
his store, and a similar poor response is being experienced elsewhere.
Even though it might be cheap, I guess people still like to see the
thing running for themselves before taking the plunge.
