View Full Version : Storm disruptions in Sydney?
Anyone else experience disruptions to the digital service in Sydney with
these thunder storms in Sydney? I was receiving perfectly last night,
however turned the TV on about 11am and ever since, have been unable to
receive Sydney channels.
Tuned it to Wollongong and receive them @ 100%.

I'm at Gosford on the Central Coast of NSW, and at 9:45 to 9:50 this
morning, couldn't get anything from either my Teac STB, nor the
standard/stand-alone analogue TV reception... (Not that Bert was
*that* interesting :)...) We've had rolling storms all day...
I'm a novice, so besides a nuclear holocaust (well apparently, from
watching Hollywood movies), can anything else such as storms cause
*all* television reception to cease? Thanks- be interested to know...
Tim
Fine here, maybe check your Sydney antenna...

Working fine here (inner west).
Thanks for all the replies. Appreciate it.
Tim, I'm a novice also, so I wouldn't have a clue about what interferes and
what doesn't. Good question. Hope to see an answer.

Actually, it's been a strange day. Not receiving Sydney digital, my emails
are being delayed by around 3 hours, my home phone line shit itself for
about 6 hours, my fuel gauge on our new car stopped working, SMS's from my
wife have been showing up under a different number, and we both received
cryptic SMS's from an unknown person.
Just waiting for Arnie to appear in my living room from the future!!!
(Play Twighlight Zone music now.)
