watched Ong-Bak with English subtitles. The action scenes in it were fantastic. The plot is paper-thin, and the story is like, what do I care? but you must watch it for the martial arts and action scenes that go over the top with cliches from Arnold Schwarzenegger's old action movies.

I got this when it first came out, of course without subtitles.
Where is it available with subtitles and do you think it would make much difference being able to understand what they're saying?
:)

I enjoyed it even not understanding a word.

I enjoyed it even not understanding a word.

... because there's no depth to the story...

In some scenes, the dialogue is humorous.

I watched The Family Man I thought it was a good movie ( even though I don't believe in what if's ) worth watching I think. The story line was great I wouldn't buy it though.

I loved "The Family Man"*, one of Brett Ratner's better works (or maybe the only good one). There is a charm to the film. Who can forget the scene with a naked Téa Leoni singing in the shower?

*Not to be confused with the cartoon series "Family Guy".

Definitely Ratner's best film.

Great film, excellent performances. Gotta love Don Cheadle in it. Definitely a must own DVD.

Just watched ROSE, first episode of season 27 of DR WHO.

*Impressed*

Wity script and great special effects. Such a shame that Christopher Eccleston has declined to do a second season, as I think on the basis of the first episode he makes a perfect Doctor. Brings the requisite degree of class, intelligence and eccentricity to the role :)

And Billie Piper makes a GORGEOUS assistant too :D *droolage*

The ABC have allegedly bought the series, and will begin broadcasting it sometime in May.

I've just watched QUEEN MARGOT (AKA La Reine Margot), which stars Isabelle Adjani, Asia Argento, and Vincent Perez (CROW 2). Lots of nudity to see. :D

Anchorman. The funniest shit I've seen since Dodgeball. Will Ferrell is a comedic genius!

I watched the Ring 2 yesterday and didn't find it as freaky as the first one. I guess because you already know what to expect. Its just a continuation of the first storyline but I must admit it had the same actors as the first movie which was good. And the fact that they had that guy from the Guardian in it another aussie actor was great.

Didn't get a scare out of this one as I did with the first one.

I didn't really find Anchorman that funny. I thought Dodgeball was way better!!

Ehren Kruger wrote the script for The Ring as well as The Ring 2.
So I don't know why his script for the sequel sucked. :)

I didn't mind The Ring 2 - although the CGI deers annoyed me! However, for me at least, the original (Japanese) Ringu 2 is a creepier film - as is Dark Water - another film by director Hideo Nakata.

Went and saw "Hostage" tonight...

Well for some reason i really liked this movie... i thought the acting was brilliant and the storyline was fairly good... best movie i have seen in a while, and i go at least once a week... Best since The Aviator...

Cinematography and the Music were very good as well...

For those who have seen it, HOW FRICKIN EVIL IS THE "EVIL GUY"??? I seriousely think he just did that OUTSTANDING... and Bruce Willis was awesome as well... but he generally always is...

I saw the German film Good Bye Lenin!. It's about East Germany losing socialism and becoming united with West Germany, but the mother who was in a coma missed the whole event. The comedy idea sounds like Brendan Fraser's Blast from the Past.

The movie is not as funny as it could have been, though it's supposed to be a comedy, I keep telling myself. So for me I won't rate it higher than average.
