I saw Monster House today. Not bad but short on laughs and not much appeal for the little kids, unless you fancy giving them nightmares. I'd give it a 2/5.

Just watched the episode of SUPERGROUP from last night and it cracks me up. :D
VH1 have put Sebastian Back from Skid Row, Evan Seinfeld from Biohazard, Scott Ian from Anthrax, Jason Bonham from Foreigner and the Ted Nugent of all people in a house to create a 'Supergroup' who must create songs from scratch and get out and perform them, all in just 10 days. They are being managed by Skid Row's old manager Doc McGee (who's also managed monster bands like KISS) and Sebastian is uneasy with this as I'm pretty sure he blames McGee for kicking him out of Skid Row.:D
The egos that Sebastian and Ted have and the f*ck you attitude that Evan has make this an absolute pisser to watch. :D Jason is there to do his thing and make music without making too many waves and Scott is easily the most relaxed of the guys and is totally star struck by his idol Ted Nugent.
It's a few episodes in and has been a good watch so far.

Oh, I had to laugh last week when Sebastian went out last week and some girls had no idea about who he was until he explained that he had a role on The Gilmour Girls. :D

Watched City of God last night. Man, a severly disturbing film. Mainly because you dont doubt that this is what happens over there. My favourite characters kept dying :( But an amazing film, recommend to anyone who thinks they can take it.

Is this a 2nd series or something? I heard of this show, but with a different band that included Gilby Clarke and i forget who else.

No, it's the first series and was yet to be renewed when I last looked.
It sounds like the one you are thinking of is Rockstar Supernova, which just ended last week. That Had Gilby, Tommy Lee and Jason Newstead looking for a new lead singer and having rockers singing for the part and one being eliminated each week. Think of a rockier version of Australian Idol, but where the contestants have actual talent.:p:D

Yeah, I watched it religiously and there's actually a thread on it in here. It may even still be on the first page for this section at the moment.

Last night watched Planes, trains and automobiles. Laughed all the way through it. One of Steve Martin's best.

Also went to see Ricky Bobby or whatever. Had some really funny parts, and considering i dont like Will Ferrel that much, it was ok. Some jokes just dragged out too much, even though they were never funny to begin with. Saw it for free too, so that was a bonus

Went to see Lady In The Water again (2nd time in 2 weeks). It was even better this time, I thought this would be one of those movies that it gets better the more you see it. This is definately my fave Shamalam movie of all and the soundtrack is beautiful.
