Just watched Death Race. Oh my god it was good. Enjoyed every minute.
I watched this too. Must be an age thing - I thought it was mind-numbing yawn-inducing shite. Total waste. :)

Still watching Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and it just gets better and better. It is now in my Top 3 shows and it has surpassed Heroes in my opinon.
It's certainly right up there with the other big two,Dexter and Tru Blood. Now if we could just turn Cameron into a basic pleasure model :boonie:

Oh yeah - I'm really enjoying Dexter as well - haven't heard of tru blood - might have a look into it when i finish my exams :)
Many people were talking about cameron after the last episode - especially when they saw that a "terminator" knows how to turn on the sex appeal to John Connor:P

I am not sure what this thread is about, but I hope I got it right. So I will add.:)
I watched the docco about a young woman trying to discover what happened to her descendants that disappeared, along with the crew, from their sailing vessel the Mary Celeste.
Quite fascinating. What evidence was apparent then, as compared to now, and how experiments can be conducted now, to solve the mystery.
I also watched "Two and a half men"......it's totally hilarious.:dD

Infinite Justice (http://www.widerscreenings.com/infinitejustice.html) intriguing terrorist film which humanizes the Jihadis, based on the true story of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, though finctionalized.

I watched Tropic Thunder last night, hilarious. Another great flick from Ben Stiller, a few of his films have been hit and miss but this one is one of his best IMO. Robert Downey Jr was excellent, definitely the funniest one in the film, and Tom Cruise, well I have to say I was shocked to see him being so bloody funny, I never knew he had so much comedic ability. And the fake movie trailers at the start were a crack up.

Saw Choke (http://www.widerscreenings.com/choke.html), a sly black comedy from the author of Fight Club. Clever and very funny.

I thought i had seen it before.
hahahahahahahahaha :dD:dD:dD:dD:dD
seriously, it was excellent, good movie
girls night in tonight.. watched ..
Fools Gold - had some funny moments here and there but other than that it was shit. I only tolerated it because Matthew McConauhey has his top off a lot in it.
Moulin Rouge! - one of my faves. never get enough of it.. :)

I think I thought I might have not did seen that once never before too!!:PI
Seriously though I hated that movie, so ridiculous, almost like a John Woo film (it wasn't a Woo film was it?).
I watched Burn After Reading tonight, Joel and Ethan Coens latest. They are so good at dark comedies that aren't obviously funny, loved it.

went and saw Quantum of Solace today, not bad...... found the action sequences very fast paced. i really miss the by-play between bondy and moneypenny :(
when 007 was on the motor bike scoping out the badies place, geez he reminded me of Steve McQueen from the great escape

I really didn't enjoy Quantum of Solace much. I agree with the reviews that said "it tries too hard to be bourne". It really does show and i think they killed off what bond is: gadgets, wit + classic one-liners and action. Yes this bond has action but not the other two and i miss it.
