....AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou confirmed on Wednesday that the
tribunal members, headed by chairman Brian Collis, had offered no objections
to TV cameras coming into the hearings.
But Demetriou said the AFL was still in discussion with pay TV operator
Foxtel, the AFL Players Association and the AFL Umpires Association.

"We are keen to have the tribunal covered, but there's lots of work to be
done before that happens," Demetriou said.

The AFL wants every tribunal hearing screened, which means free-to-air
channels Nine or Ten would not be interested in buying the rights, which
leaves Foxtel's Fox Footy channel as the obvious outlet to cover the
tribunal.

The AFL has confirmed that two tribunal hearings were filmed during the 2003
season.

On cable TV they have a weather channel - 24 hours of weather. We had
something like that where I grew up. We called it a window.
