You're entitled to your opinion, but I'd be guessing that you're unaware
that when David Lee Roth left Van Halen Barnes was approached and asked
if he'd like the lead vocalist's role?
He declined incidentally.....

Ozi Osborne? Jesus...... :)
Robert Plant has a *great* voice. On record that is. Live, he's
absolutely ****ing pathetic. Just like Mick Jagger.
Still, that's one of the advantages of the studio. You can cut as many
vocal tracks as you like to get one right and make the master :)

I keep hearing that the human voice is the greatest instrument, but I don't
agree - it's rather limited. It's a great instrument in itself, but IMO it
only compliments other equally great sounding instruments.

I consider her a K-tel singer, meaning that she reminds me of the countless
rather ordinary people that used to be able to sing that would make it on a
K-tel LP. They were neither remarkable or original, and Boyle fits that
profile.

He can't sing to save his life, but that doesn't matter in pub rock where
stage presence and volume is more important. Barnes certainly had both with
Chisel but he's ordinary as a solo performer.
