View Full Version : The Office Christmas Specials

Alright, just posting from the UK to say that The Office Christmas
Specials have just been on over here and they were brilliant. Especially
the second one. The best telly I've seen in years. I won't spoil
anything, but if at all possible, WATCH 'EM. They're on UKTV or
something in a couple of days, I believe.
The first one starts a bit slow but stick with it; it's basically just
setting up the second one, which is bloody awesome. I defy even the most
heterosexual of Aussie men to not shed a tear at the end.
Cheers.

Yup. Definitely the funniest thing I've seen on TV this year, too.
Rather sad that they aren't ever going to make any more, but I guess it's
better to go out on a high after only a few episodes, than to drag it on
for years until it's tired and worn-out.
Speaking of tired and worn-out ... did "Only Fools and Horses" ever get
shown on Australian TV?

The press reviews of the two episodes have been pretty bad
"Indulgent", "whimpering mess" and "disappointing"

The press are wankers. It's their fault we've got World Idol.

Okay, I am pretty sure it was, but I'm not betting my life on it.
Good to hear - hopefully I will agree. ;)

Actually in all honesty, it was more like a rousing cheer that went up among
our little audience at the end.
