Not sure if this post is in the wrong forum - if so, sorry :)

As some of you may know, the web site www.lordoftherings.com.au is running a competition whereby you can win a fantastic looking Panasonic home theatre.
Entry is free so I encourage you to join - you will probably need access to the DVD if you are going to correctly answer a number of the quiz questions they will ask you over the term of the comp.....

My only gripe is that in August you had to complete 3 "tasks" by the end of August to qualify for a free DVD from the Village Roadshow collection.

My wife and I duly did this, and sent the requested pre-paid stamped, self addressed bags to Village Roadshow so they could send back the DVDs.

This was in late August and its now late September and we have not seen squat in terms of the DVDs. We are starting to worry that we will never see our DVDs, in which case we are out of pocket $10 or so...

Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and/or can shed some light?

Guys... chill

Whenever companies offer free dvds, it seems that the cheapasses of the world unite.

This results in these companies getting flooded by entries / mail, when then in turn takes them long amounts of time to sift through them all and post them back.

Chances are you'll recieve them VERY soon as people on aus.dvd have stated that theirs have recently arrived.

When Columbia Tri-Star did their freebies it took a while. I had 2 to be received, and I completed them 1 month apart. Both arrived on the same day - so maybe they send em all out when everything is in.

Yeah, but some people were sending in the stickers instead of the coupons and somethimes they honored that and sometimes they didn't. For me they did, and then I used the coupons I still had to exploit another ;)
