DSE 2 channel amp

Anyone tested the DSE 2 channel amp (2 x 80W or was it 160W).

Is it a pile of poo or can it serve as a driver for some applications ?

Hi Miro,

I tried it out and found it quite admirable compared to my Rotel RMB-1075
THX, 5 X 120 Watt amp. I didn't conduct a thorough test but the bass from
the DSE was more pronounced which may or may not have been attributed by a
slight hump in the frequency response, higher distortion or less
control...and unless I take some measurements I can't give you a definite
answer.

For $146 at one of the Dick Smith stores there isn't much to complain about.
The treble and midrange with a range of materials sounded fine. Anyway this
is from my perceptions yours and others may vary. The specs rate the amp at
80 Watts but that is at a higher distortion level.

The build quality of the amp was surprisingly good and it was very solid.

quality professionals. I just spent a week fixing a lighting system which
cost $50,000 including labour. Wait till the client finds out that I have to
rewire the kitchen and several circuits. He will at least be grateful that
someone will deal with the issues in a brand new house.

It has been my experience that big business is only good at wallet surgery.

Some poor bastard has to buy the home in the future and I wouldnt like to
