I was just wondering whether (via an option I can't find) it was possible to change the default of the checkbox next to:

Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder.

I don't often want to save a copy of the private messages I send, and it would be nice to not have to uncheck this box every time. Am I missing a settings box somewhere?

I'm not aware of an option for users to disable this feature or keep it unchecked by default.

I've had a look at the actual Private Message settings behind the scenes and there doesn't appear to be an option for Admin to play with that feature either.
I'll keep on looking around though. :)

This could possiblely be done through a template modification. The question is would everyone want this to be un-checked? I personally keep a copy in my outbox. The software vendor hard-coded this, would this indicate an acceptance from majority?:)

Well I'm not looking to force everyone over :)

Was just hoping there might be an option somewhere. I guess I'll just have to stick to manually doing it each time. Thanks for checking all the same.

I've noticed recently the message receipt option, is defaulted to on.. Did we always have this option, or is it a new feature??

confirmation, when you finish a message its hard to get in to the habit of pressing cancel

Yes, i've been asking for this ages ago already, definately keep the default as unchecked please, same goes for message receipt option, it's so annoying always having to go back to delete all those stored receipts.

Btw:The edited Subject Lines still don't show up on the forum :(

I will change the template when the full release is out which should not be long now.

I hold back some changes until the final release. They are redesigning the software a lot before the final release. As most of you would have noticed, there are quite a few even visual changes since beta7, Gamma and now RC2 (I think RC3 is out). When something is changed, I will need to revert the changes when the new version is out (mainly before the final design). Making it hard for me to remember what is essential, whats not.

There appear to be a bug with the thread subject change function while the permissions are set, one can still not delete his/her/(it?) own thread. I will make sure that works with the full release. As said before, there is no point fixing code etc before the final version, especially for a non-essential bug.
