We have 3 computers at home- what do you think is the best standalone DVD
burner, that we could move from one computer to another?

I'm also interested in this. I was thinking of getting a Pioneer 106 and
a USB 2 case for it...if they even make them for cdrom sized drives...?

Yeah a 5 1/4 " external case would be best...you can source the Pioneer 106
for under $200 atm, and an external case for about $100. Not a bad solution
for $300 really.

That was my original plan, but it's $100 more than the 106...
