That's what I thought but I wasn't sure. Would they be any better than the
solid core mains cable I use?

What IDIOT would be stupid enough to pay that much for cables that are no
better than what you can get at KMart?

That sounds like a bit of a troll now ;-)
Certainly Jaycar has some quality cables at great prices ~$30, they sell for
approx the same price that Dick Smith sells their cables for (the same
chinese/taiwanese ones you see in $2 shops!, and the same as the
Kmart/Retravision/etc cables that sell for about $15).
Paying those rediculous prices for "High Def Monster Cable" *is* just
completely stupid, if you look at the attenuation and interference specs
over those small distances (1 metre is very short), then apart from the $2
cables, I reckon there wouldn't be a detectable difference to those $200
cables!
Now if we start talking 20meters (say to get to a projector) then I am sure
there would be a difference, but could you imagine the price of a 20m one!
Cheers
Tony
That depends on whether you have back problems due to all the lazy cash in
your pockets. If you do, Monster cable is definitely the way to go.
cheers,
C3
