Hi everyone, i recently graduated from uni and my dad wants to purchase me
something as a reward. He doesnt have the cash right now but is prepared to
buy something from Myer on his myer card as they are offering 12 months
interest free.
I have looked through their catalogue and they have the Panasonic SCHT500
Home theatre System for $799. It includes a DVD player, subby and 5 speakers
and has a Dolby Digital/DTS decoder. Its also 500 watts RMS.
Im not really an audio visual tech person so i dont expect miracles from it,
but is this a pretty good system?
Ill be using it with a projector once i save enough cash for one.
Thanks for your comments

Also wanted to know if I can connect the HT system up to play on VCR or use
it for Digital TV or Foxtel or will it only work with the DVD player.
