It works as free to air without the box, but for some reason in the last
week, I havent been able to get into any of the SBS channels on my STB.
I have tried resetting and all that, but no avail.
Any ideas?

Yes I am having the same problem with my box in Melbourne.
Very interested in solution as that is one of the best features for us of
DTV, a perfect SBS picture.
Cheers Chris

I just noticed a minute ago here in Melbourne when flicking through
channels that all of the SBS channels were showing up, even though in
theory I had all SBS channels except channel 3 marked to be skipped.
Then I tried the shortcuts for SBS channels on my remote and none of
them worked either.
A bit of investigiation shows that SBS has renumbered all of their
channels. There is no 3 anymore, then are now 350 (HD), 351 (SBS 1),
352 (SBS 2) 353 (SBS EPG), 354 (SBS Radio 1) and 355 (SBS Radio 2).
So on the Teac DVB-300 it noticed the changed channels and enabled
all the new ones and removed the old ones. Sounds like the Thomson
isn't automatically doing this and you'll need somehow tell it to
check for the new channels allocations (a re-scan or something?).

I am in Melbourne and have an Emtech stb. Same thing happened to me last
week. I did a rescan of the channels and the new SBS channels appeared.

Good to know I wasn't the only one suffering from it.
