Hi,

I bought a Teac DV-B300 recently, and soon after had a new antenna,
cable and outlet installed (the originals were about 30 years old and
failing pretty badly).

Since then, I've been able to get 7,9,10 and SBS from the Wyrrabolong
tower and Prime, NBN and SC10 from Mt Sugarloaf. However, I cannot get
the ABC at all from any tower.

Analog reception is no problem - it's pretty clear. However, when I go
to tune in the ABC (Channel 37) on the STB it briefly gets a signal with
full quality but can't actually find the stations. I've tried tuning for
the Sydney towers with no avail.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so how did you solve
it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan Smith

Hello,

I'd encourage you to look at http://stb.teac.com.au/ as there is a
software upgrade available for the TEAC DV-B300 (version 1.06) that
offers "Improved signal performance for NSW Central Coast and Canberra
customers."

You'll be needing software off the website and a null-modem cable, or
you can just take it to a TEAC service centre and they'll do it for
you for no charge.

It may just do the trick :) It offers other benefits and features for
TEAC DV-B300 owners, so it's worth upgrading.
