Just looking at getting a new SD STB with PVR, and am considering the
Topfield TF5000PVRt, the Strong SRT 5390, and the soon to be released
OpenTel ODT4200PVR.

Would like some feedback on them all, and also best pricing around Brisbane
or even the gold coast.

At the moment I'm favouring the Topfield one due to the dual tuners.

Have had a Strong 5390 since xmas and it as has worked great.

It's successfully recorded every episode of Dr Who and The Bill since got
it will out a singe failure (pity it doesn't have a bigger HDD, 80Gb just is
not enought....)

The only issue I have had with it is when trying to record the primary ABC
channel (2) on timer....it crashes. However there are 4ish there channels
transmitting exactly the same thing, so it isn't much of a problem (they
record fine). I haven't checked it in the last month or so, they may have
fixed the problem. I've seen on some guy's unofficial wish/bug list that
there are a couple of channels that have this problem in different states
(I'm in Adelaide), usealy a problem with corrupt prog info being transmitted
or something....

Now that's starting to look really nice.

Do you know who would be handling them in S E Qld ?

Don't suppose you know if you can just whack in a 120Gb or larger HDD
relatively easily ?
