(With respect to an earlier discussion of this model having an
unreliable component input when run interlaced.)
I got a call from Samsung about this yesterday. The guy said
that this was *not* how the unit was supposed to behave, and
that I should call my local service centre to have them come
out and take a look.
I'll do that in the next few days (need to dig out the receipt),
but in the meantime it's useful to know that this is a malfunction
and that Samsung don't seem to be trying to dodge it.
