XMS-888, progressive scan yay or nay?

Hi guys, I'm thinking of picking one of these up tonight.

Can someone please confirm if it does PAL and NTSC progressive scan, and if so, what are the chances that this unit will look better on my HD plasma than my $1,200 non-progressive Toshiba unit?

Yes it does PAL and NTSC progressive, but I don't know:

1) The quality of you HD plasma's deinterlacer
2) The quality of your $1,200 Toshiba unit.
