Optical and Svideo Question

I need to connect two devices into one optical port on my reciver. I wanted to know if i can use an optical splitter for this but i would have to youse it in the opposite direction will this work.

Also i need to connect these two devises through one Svideo port on my reciver do they make an adapter for this. I have asked around but no one is shore of this. also were can i get such devices from.

Dunno, but Jaycar have a four way optical switch box (cat # AC-1675) for
$34.95

Jaycar have two 4 way S-Video switch boxes for this too, (AC-1667, $29.95 &
AC-1664, $44.95), also one with a remote for $99 (AC-1670)

Too bad they don't appear to have one that does S-Video and optical in the
one box. Maybe someone else has?

Thankyou flyinyereye i got a svideo 4way splitter for $29.95 and the optical switchbox for $19.95 on special. Cant belive how cheap i got this equipment for, well worth a look at this site. Thanksagain
