I recently won an M220 and I was just wondering if anyone knew how I could unlock it. I've been trying to get a multi-zone player for ages but didn't know what to get. I've also got a Panasonic but I don't think you can unlock it. If no one knows about the conia m220 can you advise me on what to get?

The Conia players were previously always all zone out of the box, i'm not sure if this is still the case but I would be surprised if this has changed at all. If it's not already set it's usually just a case of entering a code in via the remote, you could check on www.dvdrhelp.com and see if your player is listed in the hacks section. You could also try contacting the distributor as the info is usually freely available anyway. As to the Panasonic it depends on the model, some earlier models required a hardware mod while later models are usually made region free by way of an upgrade disc that was supplied by Panasonic (unofficially of course)
