Is this unit still for sale? I am heading to the World cup at the end of this week, and despreately need a model to fill the void of the one that didn't arrive via eBay (Ggggrrrrrr......)
I'd need it shipped via Express post to Adelaide.

The XA is a great little camera, but hardly worth taking to the world cup.
Maybe if you only want a few crowd shots I guess.

Well, it seems that FIFA has clamped down on "professional" SLR users and telephoto lenses. Essentially, it'll be up to the discretion of the guard at the gate on the day - but apparently any "pro-looking" kit will be refusedsntry. With my luck I'll get some simpleton, who thinks any SLR is 'pro equipment', and won't let me through the gate with it. So, the XA would be a good compromise, I think.
More importantly, I think it'll be a great camera to carry around the streets, with which I'll gain little attention.
Well, I can't quite read between your lines - I'm guessing you still have it for sale? Doesn't matter either way - I've jumped on eBay in the meantime, to ensure I get one in time.
Thanks,
Andre
