Has anyone done any definite comparison amongst the major technologies?

Not sure what you are asking here, but...
100Hz vs 50 Hz tellies...100Hz wins hands down for image stability.
Progressive vs interlaced DVD...progressive wins hands down for aliasing and
interlacing artefacts.
Buy a telly that has 100Hz and a progressive scan. Buy a DVD that has
progressive scan. All projectors are progressive scan anyway...but the DVD
player may output a better progressive scan image than that converted by the
projector.

Actually I was looking for a comparison of Sony's DRC technology vs
Philip's PixelPlus vs Panasonics' (don't know what they call it) vs
JVC's, etc etc.
I know progressive scan + 100Hz is way better than interlaced/50Hz,
but I was also told that there are significant differences between the
technologies for progressive scan/100Hz.
