Philips 762k Region Change?

tried searching for this dvd here but i couldn't find any answers. I have also tried google, so if anybody can help, it would be appreciated

Just wondering if the following dvd player can be region changed. It is apparently not region free off the box, so is there a way of getting this dvd player region free besides getting a modchip installed? trying to save somebody's cash, so they don't have to purchase another dvd palyer that is region free.

thnx for the link dvdboy, i have passed it to my dad's mate, hopefully he won't have to buy a new dvd player
