Wide Screen TV Selection

Greetings;

I am currently investigating the purchase of a new widescreen TV and DVD player. Judging from the features and picture quality I have narrowed the choice to either a Loewe Planus or perhaps the Metz Artos, both 76cm viewable TVs.

If anyone has any information on how these TV's compare and any pros & cons or knows of a good webb site that may offer a comparative judgement on these units, I would be most appreciative.

Not sure what the prices compare like, but I know they sell Metz TVs at Soundair HiFi on Hawthorn Rd, Nth Caulfield.

Both are great brands though, good luck with your research!!

I know nothing except two things.

1. Don't buy Sony unless its their reference model.

2. My friend has a Fujitsu plasma screen and I cry every time I leave his house.


Maybe use google to find some reviews or forum topics covering widescreen tvs

Your first suggestion sounds good though.
