What is the use of channel nine doing this interactive thing if most people
who have set top boxes, don't have an interactive one!

So that they get a small response and they can then say to everyone "we
tried it but got such a small response we decided to drop the whole thing."
thereby saving money.

Yeah but if they had another extra channel dedicated for stats only with a
continous update going throught the diferent type of stats then alot more
people would be interested. The only thing that you could access was the
MV1 (99) where all you saw was ongoing highlights, not very helpful if you
already was watching it from the start.

According to your logic DVDs should never have been produced because there
were so few DVD players to watch them on initially.

Yeah but DVD players ultimately have the same function. Stb's are still a
relatively new thing so why not the stations concentrate on using features
that most people with stb's have and not concentrate on what only a small
percentage of stb's owners can access
